Located at 699 Steels Creek Road, the Community Centre is the heart of the Steels Creek valley. Rebuilt and modernized as a vital community hub, the centre is used for meetings, recreational activities, group workshops, and private celebrations.
The centre is equipped with standard meeting facilities, a clean modern kitchen (including ovens, stoves, and crockery), and outdoor space with tennis courts.
Hiring the Facility & Fees
Local residents, community groups, and external organizers can hire the SCCC facility for a nominal fee. Hire fees are structured into three simple categories:
Meetings
$75
Up to 4 hours, where no food is provided. Maximum of 100 people.
Functions
$150
Events where food is served. Includes full kitchen, stove, and crockery use. Max 75 people.
Clubs & Groups
$5 / person
Special rate for registered local community groups holding regular meetings or workshops.
💡 Note: An additional cleaning fee may be applied to specific events depending on use. Other custom events (such as art shows) are priced at rates determined by the committee.
